Jet-lag and some interesting meals....
well here i am... finally in Ningbo, after 2 days of travelling, not even unpacked yet..... its been an interesting day with some very cool people, and some not so good food. We were up super early for the pick up from the airport, then it was a 3 hour drive to Ningbo, with a sort break in between, where we got stared at lots and had some nice compliments too. The people here are lovely and would do anything to make you feel as welcome as possible!!! Also on the way to Ningbo, we crossed what we have been told is the longest bridge in the world, 37km!!!!! Took us around 20 mins to get from one side to the other! When we arrived we were given out accommodation for the first 5 weeks of our stay and i have to say it is impressive compared to student living in manchester anyway! We also had a meeting with out tutors and supervisors, in which we found out our placements and where we will be working! I start by teaching english tomorrow in a middle school!!! very excited but also nervous! it could be very interesting to say the least! I will also be working in the university teaching english and design on tuesdays, then for my company placement i will be working for a menswear company 3 days a week!!!! Its all exciting but unbelievable scary at that same time!! The jet lag has most defiantly kicked in too, unfortunatly it was in the middle of the meal out tutors took us out for tonight, so we were all nearly asleep in our dinners! anyway talking of sleep I had best get some got to be up at 7 tomorrow morning!
